Inner Tapestry is distributed throughout New England 6 times per year,

We pick up new distribution points with each new issue. We reach those who shop in health-food stores, practice fitness routines and meditation, or whoe visit alternative health and wellness practitioners. Each copy will have a home or office shelf life of at least 8 weeks before the next journal is out, but often individual copies are collected (Inner Tapestry is not a throw-away paper).

Six Ways to Advertise

Scattered throughout Inner Tapestry's pages are the Display Ads. Towards the back of the journal, and by using the following links, you'll find rates for our Yoga, T'ai Chi, & Meditation Practitioners Maine Directory, Directory of Resources, the Calendar of Events, the Classifieds , Display Ads and On-line. Each section has details on how to become an advertising presence with Inner Tapestry, and includes rates.

Ad Design Services: We offer a service to create a distinct way for you to present your business. Please call or email for affordable design rates & discounts.

Electronic submissions must be PDF files, optimized for printing, or in Design CS2 - sent with MAC OS X fonts. Graphics such as logos and/or photos should be sent as TIFF files at high resolution for printing: (300 dpi). We also accept JPEGs. Hard copy ads are accepted only if printed on a laser printer on bright white paper at high resolution (300 dpi). Materials should be accompanied with payment by the deadline dates featured above. If materials are expected to be returned, be sure to send a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE). Please contact Inner Tapestry prior to sending ad materials and to inquire as to rates, space requirements and other services. We reserve the right to refuse any advertisement that is not in keeping with the journal's standards.

We accept checks, credit cards (by phone) & all PayPal options. Advertising can be invoiced by issue and a 5% discount is given for prepaid advertising on multiple issue placements.

• Inner Tapestry Directory of Resources listings are easy to compose.
  Write as though you are speaking to others about the work you do and the services you offer. You have 3 inches x 5 inches (approximately 135 words) to express your uniqueness. • Online only Directory of Resources for $100 for a full year – (6 issues).
  You can advertise on the Inner Tapestry website without being an advertiser in the hardcopy/paper edition of Inner Tapestry. (There is an initial $20 set up fee.)

~Calendar of Events~

Date Sensitive Listings
$12 per issue for 30 words, each word thereafter is charged at a rate of 50 cents.
Please follow the format of our calendar found in the journal and online,
(Date information, title, description, location and contact information.)
Please do not send listings which are not formatted or press releases.

Ongoing Event Listings
A six month (three issue) listing is $25 for 30 words, additional words are invoiced at 50 cents per word.
Please follow the format of our Ongoing Listings found in the journal and online,
(Title, frequency, description, location and contact information.)
There are three categories; Community Gatherings, Discussion/Support Groups and Ongoing Classes.
Please do not send listing which are not formatted or press releases.

Please follow the format of our Calendar - (please do not send unformatted Listings such as press releases).

• Times, dates and telephone numbers count as one word (like "8 p.m." or "August 6th".? (Email & website addresses count as 2 words.).
• Send typed text indicating under which heading you want your event to appear: (Month starting with the date, Upcoming or Ongoing).
• The deadline is the 5th of the month prior to the next issue being published.
• Remember Inner Tapestry is published bi-monthly; issues schedule as follows: Dec/Jan, Feb/March, April/May, etc
• Inner Tapestry Calendar Events are published in both the print journal and Online!

• Send typed text indicating under what type of heading you want your classified ad to appear: (Help Wanted, Business Opportunities, Classes, For Sale, Healing, Counseling, Travel/Retreats, Mail Order, Sacred Rental Space, Miscellaneous, Name Your Own Category)
• Times, dates and telephone numbers count as one word (like"8 p.m." or "August 6th". Email addresses and web site addresses count as 2 words. Payments must be sent with the listing. The deadline is the 5th of the month prior to the next issue being published.
• All listings are also placed on the Inner Tapestry website.
• The Classified Ads rate is $30 for 30 words and $0.50 per word thereafter.
