10-1-super-consciousness

How to describe the indescribable? The great teachers have said it best. Buddha has called it the “no-thing” and Jesus stated, “It’s the peace within.” Super consciousness is the opposite of the unconscious. Isn’t unconsciousness when you’ve had your lights knocked out and you have to go to the hospital? Not really. But yes, your inner light is turned off. Let me explain.

Before writing this piece, I was not familiar with the term “Super Consciousness,” and assumed it referred to an Attention so Vast, perhaps Infinite, where all things are possible.

10-1-big-bad-wolf

“What’s a binLaden, Mommy?”  My five year old asked with the same curiosity she would have approached any of a thousand other new encounters with the world around her.

I was driving at the time. Her timing could not have been worse.

10-1-working-to-save-banner

We know that both people and animals suffer great pains in their life. But what we may not fully understand is what happens when we choose to step in to save someone who is or has been suffering. The only way to describe a person that is instinctively drawn to saving another Be-ing, is to call them a healer.

a PASSION:

Something that makes your toes tickle with excitement, barely containable. Seizing the ease in the air. Problems become puzzles and determination guides logistics. Time melts. The world looks bigger, brighter, 3D.

the PURSUIT:

Moving toward a passion, especially in the beginning, is rarely easy. To the conscientious mind it can feel like sleeping in, two days in a row. Or eating a candy bar for breakfast. Finding the time, moving in a direction, even talking about a passion can hurt. Physically and emotionally. It is core shaking to really want. When that feeling of hurt or confusion comes, there is a desire to push it away. To rid the passion of its validity. To run toward something more predictable even more difficult. Nothing in life is easy, right?

10-1-how-do-i-love-me

Elizabeth Barrett Browning had a very different intention with her lovely poem but it brings up a question that I hear from my clients all of the time.... How do I love myself? This is, of course, to be a very personalized answer and I feel is the biggest question that we can ask ourselves each day of our lives. So many of us being caretakers for everyone else in the world, have forgotten how to care for ourselves. We have learned to respond to the needs of others first and put our own needs behind. After years of doing this, we forgot what things fuel us, lift our spirits and make us happy. Disappointment, resentments and frustration, too often then leading to depression, bring our energy down and take the luster out of our beautiful lives. We are lowering our energetic vibration when we lose consciousness of how to love ourselves. There is a cure, a rather simple one, to ignite the spark to love yourself.

10-1-change

The unfolding of this phenomenon called “change” continues as we stand at the cusp of summer. Are you wondering how many more profound changes await us for the summer months? As if the changes we heard about, experienced and witnessed during spring weren’t enough to rattle us out of complacency, and perhaps creating not only wonder but also anxiety and fear about what’s next. It sure didn’t feel like a gentle or gradual unfolding of a spring blossom. So let’s review and continue our exploration on "change."

10-1-creative-opposites

According to new physics, our bodies and everything in the universe consists of energy. At the core, we are all made of the same substance. We only exist as patterns of energy, not as solid matter as previously believed. Not only that, but everyone and everything exchanges energy all the time. So, while conversing with each other, we exchange energy as well as the words and ideas. How many times have you walked into a room and you could feel the mood. Nobody said anything in particular, there was nothing obvious, but you had a feeling about the room. When that happens we are participating in the “energy” of the room. This belief used to be only the domain of the mystics, but with the scientific experiments of new physics, we now know this is not only a mystical idea, but also a fact. Fritjof Capra embraces this notion in his statement:
