Aries – (March 20 – April 19) September is a turning point month for all of us, and especially for you, Aries. With your planetary ruler, Mars, making major aspects to both Uranus and Pluto, important decisions will be made now – are you ready? Look at the facts friend, sharpen you sword, and remember that Mars the mighty warrior also carries a shield for protection. Unexpected news arrives on the 3rd ; maintain your center of gravity, and do not over-react. Maintain your cool on the 21st ; you are in the perfect position to get just what you want – and your opponents are eager to please.

Taurus – (April 20 – May 20) With your planetary ruler Venus making several major aspects to other planets, January promises to be a pivotal month, Taurus. Enjoy, but reserve your commitment on the 6th; first take a realistic look at the situation. By Saturday the 12th, you feel completely opposite; on this day, stay out of trouble, but don’t take be ponderous, either. Wednesday the 16th just might be your best day this month; you are both positive and balanced; unlike the 23rd, when intensity peaks. Venus speaks a language of beauty, and she has much to say this month.

Gemini – (May 21 – June 20) Mercury, your planetary ruler enters Aquarius on the 7th, another air sign which is compatible with yours. Inventor Thomas Edison was born with Mercury in Aquarius, a placement which enhances mental clarity and vision. Your mind is working well, but both Saturn and Mars in retrograde motion are influencing other important events; you may develop a new understanding of the “big dig” project in Boston, fraught with cost over runs and unavoidable delays. Some things will simply not be ready to advance - this is your time to plant those seeds, the harvest comes later.

Cancer – (June 21 – July 21) With Jupiter traveling through your solar 7th house of relationships, benefactors will be plentiful in 2008, Cancer. The hidden side of this planetary placement is that it also brings “bossy know-it-alls” and “holier-than-thou’s” your way, too. Try to enjoy them all. You are accident prone on the 19th; either stay home, or take it slow. A family member is in need of a bit of extra help this month; both deep conversation and deep pockets are in order – respond accordingly. Your good will returns multiplied by the 29th.

Leo – (July 22 – August 22) The first Full Moon of a new year often falls in Cancer, but this time around, it’s in early Leo; what a fitting way for you to begin your journey. 2008 begins a Nueva Era, and your leadership has never been needed more. An honest appraisal of relationships is in order on the 6th; take time to figure out what is really going on, and make your decisions accordingly. A good friend or lover helps to keep you balanced, as long as you are clear on the path to be taken. It’s ok to reveal your true feelings on the 23rd; play your hand, and you just might be amazed by the cards you have been dealt.

Virgo – (August 23 – September 22) Lady luck finally makes her entrance into your life, Virgo! Jupiter, the planet which bring on the good things in life will be in your solar 5th house of pleasure and creativity for all of 2008; don’t over analyze things too much this year, just jump right in. Your long held career goals are up for evaluation this month, also. Peer review can be daunting, but I suspect, that in true Virgo fashion, you have crossed the “T’s” and dotted all of the “I’s”, and the end result is fabulous. Saturday the 12th is fraught with frustration for Virgos; just let this scenario develop and run its course with out your emotional involvement.

Libra – (September 23 – October 21) Libra is the sign of Peace, and this is a month to practice your best sun sign qualities because this month, yours is the voice of reason in a storm of controversy and passion. Use your discernment to evaluate who has legitimate concerns, and who is just looking for sympathy. Your opinion does matter! Your health is also important this month; if and when you are feeling a bit “low”, get extra rest and take time to nurture yourself; your are needed elsewhere, not home and sick in bed. Take care of important business before Mercury goes retrograde on the 28th; this way, you can enjoy February, while everyone else is fixing mysterious computer problems.

Scorpio – (October 22 – November 21) Yours is one of those signs which occasionally gets a bit ‘intense,’ and January is a month which will challenge you fully. Not in a bad way, but, you’ll feel the heat, Scorpio. Your extra efforts pay off, but this is not about rewards, it’s about commitment, productivity, and your future. As a fixed water sign, ice becomes your moniker when you are not flowing; remember to add exercise, and, it’s ok to have fun, too – even when it feels like you are working 24 x 7. Keep your eye on the prize with a Leo Full Moon in your solar 10th house of career and public recognition on the 22nd. Make it happen.

Sagittarius – (November 22– December 20) Venus traveling through your sign until the 24th adds sparkle to an already glimmery month. Jupiter in your solar 2nd house of earned income suggests that the year ahead will be prosperous, and you’ll accomplish your dreams in grand style. You wield extra charm on the 16th, but don’t give up your psychological gains by being unruly on the 19th – nobody likes an old grumpy. Things heat up on the 23rd, but play it cool; this too, shall pass.

Capricorn – (December 21 – January 19) One can grow in many ways – enlargement of waist line, or expansion of the mind. Which is your preferred method, Capricorn; how about increasing your sphere of influence? The runway is being cleared for takeoff, and all those things which have held you back are rapidly disappearing, The New Moon of January 8th is in your sign – sign your name to that special project, and get started. Success is just around the next corner.

Aquarius – (January 20 – February 17) You will be publicly featured this month, Aquarius. Will you be marching for peace, or tax reform? Perhaps the society page, though, I think more likely it will be for a cause you really care about. Your compassion is exemplary, and your passion is for all to see. Be alert to a sidewinder on the 12th; if anyone is to be thrown off course, let it be someone else. And, you’ll want to look your best for the photo op on the 22nd.

Pisces – (February 18 – March 19) January is the first month of this New Year, and a time of new beginnings, but this month, your mind has a tendency to focus on those old, and perhaps troubling issues, Pisces. As you untie this mental knot, know that it can be transformed into a labyrinth; still spiritual and mysterious, but also holding order and predictability. The labyrinth has a center focal point – this is what you need now. Find something, or someone to hold on to. Things are moving so quickly, we don’t want you swept away. Ask for, and receive assistance on the 22nd; then show your appreciation on the 25th.
