New this Issue:

Hi Everyone, welcome this issue,” Lighten’ Up,” of Inner Tapestry. We have some special people once again who have allowed us to share their work and their lives with you. Happy Anniversary to everyone!

I was looking for cover art and a discussion with Ron transpired. I showed him some of the art that I had found and he asked, did I want to show the process of "Lightening Up" or "Lightening Up" achieved. I sat for a very brief moment and knew that it would be the latter, an expression of what it is. In our discussion we realized that the journal has evolved from an expression of the process and struggle to "getting" there to an express of "being" there. We look at many publications and the focus is still on trying to "get" there and we feel our writers are mainly focused on what it is to "be" there.

Few of us and even fewer of our parents had a book or manual to read explaining to us how to be. We intuitively felt what was going on in our lives and created our realities from there. As one individual that is in contact with many, thanks for the commitment to your personal work and self-exploration that you all have embraced and chosen to share.

This issue, as you will quickly see, is a smidge on the corn-ball side. I really had fun gathering the graphics and quotes for this issue. With our theme Lighten' Up it wasn't hard to find people willing to share the lighter side of spirituality.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank www.jakesjokes.com for sharing the quotes found in this issue and John Ninomiya for the excellent ballooning pictures. To the right you will find a more expansive sharing about John.

We have added two new sections to the Directory of Resources as well as new practitioners who have chosen to join us. The sections are for Massage and Healing in Nature. Healing in Nature has approaches to healing that I found to be very intriguing.

Get ready folks, the Common Ground Fair is coming as well as lots of local events. I can't even comprehend that I haven't been swimming yet and already I am writing and looking forward to the wonderful change of seasons that summer's end will bring.

The end of summer and beginning of fall is a very busy time for everyone, luckily it is also time for some really wonderful retreats. Take the time to care for self and experience the peace, calm and relaxation that a weekend retreat or week long retreat has to offer, be it out in the woods or a quite oasis in the city it will be time well spent.

Thanks all, I hope this issue brings smiles to your faces at least a couple of times, laugh lines are the best kind of lines to have.

ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR SUMMER AND ALL THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCES THAT IT HOLDS.
