New this Issue:Welcome everyone to this new decade of 2010. I am in awe that I am sitting at my computer writing this sharing, feeling like it was just yesterday, then having the feelings that years have gone by since our last issue. Our wish is that 2010 will bring to everyone the opportunity to embody all that we truly are. I just received an email from a friend in Florida to check out a YouTube video— whatever did we do without YouTube! AARP conducted a contest, as the email goes, it was titled "U @ 50" and a 20 year-old responded with the most wonderful video. One point for YouTube! This video is a palindrome, which is something that reads the same forwards and backwards, like madam, level, kayak and racecar. Stay with it all the way through. Though they are sentences you'll get the drift on the way back. It is only 1 minute and 44 seconds, but it is an inspiring 104 seconds. www.youtube.com/watch?v=42E2fAWM6rA This video is a reminder that "everything" is in every thing. This wonderful example of how perception is our key and our willingness to see things in a different way is what will unlock what keeps us from happiness and changing the world we live in. That something so simple as this video once again shows us our power of creation. Take a minute, watch and experience life, choice and awesome inspiration. In this issue there are events beckoning us to leave the warmth of our homes to find the warmth of connection and friendship. The upcoming season of what I call "pre-spring," instead of the "dead of winter" brings the stirring of activity and new beginnings. Mother earth is once again at the beginning of her rebirth, though not seen to us on her surface, settling into a gentle heart space the subtle inner earth activity can be felt. Can you remember the year 2000, when most of us felt 2012 was so far away, concerned over the Y2K issues and the realization that we would continue... We are just around that next anticipated corner, realizing a most interesting time in humanity. So many things are being experienced in such short times, technology is yet advancing faster than some can or want to keep up with. We are growing spiritually/energetically faster than ever and our physical vessels do process through our growth as well. People are saying that things will continue to come into our lives at a quickened pace, so it is important to continue to create the time and space in our lives to tend to our physical vessels in a loving and gentle way. We will, if given the opportunity, find new and exciting ways to care for ourselves on all levels finding the support and guidance to "live" the joy that we truly are. Let's find those new perceptions of life and share our continued growth. I have been blessed many times with connecting with some extraordinary people, once again one is our featured artist Jeff Haworth. His life's journey has not been an easy one in his physical vessel, but his journey has brought him to the awakening of some awesome talent, both in his art and his ability to reach out to help others through their struggles and challenges of their human vessels. Take a visit to the On The Cover section on page 15. One last thing to share, one of our readers and friend in Massachusetts sent me some pictures, something that she has done with her children for many years, to play and find the joy of winter, check it out on page 9. |
